history

TCR Corporation was founded in 1953 as a manufacturer of standard solid rivets. The company continued to manufacture standard products until it was purchased in 1963 by Leon and Robert Bradley. After purchasing the company, the Bradleys diversified the product line, added equipment and developed new cold forging techniques. With the development of more efficient manufacturing processes, TCR became a contract manufacturer of special metal component parts and standard and specialty fasteners.

In 1979 TCR purchased Twin City Automatic, Inc., a manufacturer of specialty machined parts. This acquisition expanded capacity and added complementary production equipment and additional secondary operation capability. Twin City Automatic's operations were subsequently combined with TCR. TCR operates in a well-equipped 140,000 square foot manufacturing facility. TCR has developed a skilled work force of over 160 people. Its customer base is well diversified throughout the United States and represents many markets of the industrial economy including the automotive, industrial/commercial, hydraulic, and recreation industries.

Expansion has been through both internal and external growth and TCR has developed management systems and controls designed primarily for, but not limited to, job shop applications. TCR is comprised of a complete array of single and multi-station cold formers, single and multiple spindle screw machines, a complete complement of secondary equipment, heat treat facilities, and metal finishing equipment.
